Being a wife and mother, words won’t be necessary to recognize the hearts and feelings of women who share the same responsibilities. Christian women want to serve God without sacrificing their responsibilities at home. These ladies wanted to be nourished spiritually and be involved in the ministry as much as they could.

With the blessing from God, the married ladies, distinctively named, Joyful Ladies, was organized in 1982.

The Joyful Ladies of Moriah Baptist Bible Church is grouped to four, according to the locality of their domicile. One group holds responsible for a fellowship meeting in round robin basis, with this servant as the main speaker for every meeting, and occasionally invites speakers during special celebrations.

The fellowship attendance could have increased or decreased but it continued steadfastly on fixed schedule, first Friday of every month. The continuity of the fellowship has been being seasoned with activities such as cooking demonstration, home management seminars, participation in activities of Moriah Baptist Bible church and even in other churches. The Joyful Ladies has been supportive of the church, in such as visiting ailing brethren and friends as well as those who need spiritual strengthening; even in flower offering and anniversary contributions and involvement, the Joyful Ladies are exceptionally involved.

“The consistency of the Joyful Ladies Fellowship, Choir and Ministries is attributed to the faithfulness of the Lord, manifested through the active participation of the married ladies of Moriah Baptist Bible Church. As the Lord leads and would allow us to serve in His name, we will keep on.”
