Moriah Baptist Bible Church - Children Ministry

The CHILDREN’S MINISTRY was Ms. Dory Lopez’s field of responsibility in her former church and she has carried on that passion to Moriah Baptist Bible Church when she married Pastor Efren Padua.

Mrs. Dory Padua trained some willing and committed members to teach youngsters in Junior Church. The teachers meet once or twice a week for honing and further training. In fact, the teachers used to have a round robin demonstration of the lesson to be taught for the coming Sunday during their weekly meetings. As part of their discussion, a couple of hours in one of the weekdays are allotted for them to listen to the recorded message of the speaker of the preceding Sunday. These are the routines that Ma’am Dory is trying to restore for the benefit of the current Sunday School Teachers despite the busy schedule our generation demands. Nevertheless, she maintains other requirements such as submitting Lesson Plans of the Teachers as well as their Assistants.

Presently, the Junior Church is being held in the Church School Building to accommodate the growing number of the children.

Goodnews classes are conducted to youngsters whose parents won’t allow their kids to join the Church Service Ministry, as well as in areas where children can be assembled.

Sunday School Teachers are expected to handle a Goodnews Class or two.
